National Testing Agency has started the CUET 2023 registration processon February 9, at the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in. The examwill be conducted from May 21 to 31 for admission to undergraduate and integrated postgraduate courses in the 90 participating universities ranging from Delhi University (DU) to Banaras Hindu University (BHU) (BHU).
NTA has released a detailed CUET 2023 Notification on its official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in. Candidates are advised to go through the Whole Notification before filling out the Registration form. The CUET 2023 Notification includes details of the Examination Such as the Registration date, the Application process, Fee, Important dates, etc.
What is Common University Entrance Test (CUET)?
The Central University Common Entrance Examination will be administered as a requirement for admission to a variety of programs at 53 central universities. Candidates are given admission offers to these programs depending on their entrance exam results following the Counseling. The third week of May 2023 is designated as the date for the Exam. The Application Form is available on the official website starting on April 6 for students who have completed their 10 + 2 or undergraduate degrees. The prerequisites for each UG and PG program, however, are unique.
CUET 2023 Registration Date
As per the official notification, The CUET 2023 Registration has been started online today, February 9, 2023, and the last date to submit the registration form is March 12, 2023.
CUET 2023 Key Changes
Candidates taking the CUET 2023 Exam must review the key changes made by the NTA for the examinations.
- Candidates will have more subjects to choose from while Registration for CUET 2023. Last year, students could choose only nine subjects. But this year, they can select up to ten subjects from all three parts.
- The Registration Fee has been raised by the NTA according to the number of subjects chosen by the candidates. In 2022, General Category students who chose up to four subjects had to pay a registration fee of Rs. 650, whereas this year they must pay Rs. 750 for three subjects.
- International students must pay a register fee of Rs. 3750 for three subjects and up to Rs. 11,000 for ten subjects.
- Last year, whatever the number of subjects chosen, international students were required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 3000.
CUET 2023 Exam Pattern
The revised CUET 2023 exam pattern 2023 has been announced by the National Test Agency along with CUET 2023 Notification. CUET exam pattern 2023 includes the exam’s duration, the type of questions, the manner of testing, and the total marks.
The NTA has decreased the number of questions that must be answered in the Exam pattern. The format for Sections 1A and 1B will remain the same, however, there will be fewer questions to answer in Sections 2 and 3.
