The CEO of Tesla and its co-founder Elon Musk announced the latest range of Tesla Model Y. According to Elon Musk, the production of the Model Y will be commenced in January 2021.

Elon Musk thanked the entire engineering team of Tesla for introducing the newest renovation to the model. The Tesla Model Y features an increase in real-world driving ranging from 280 miles to 315 miles which is more than 500 kilometers just on a single charge. Musk mentioned that the development is clearly visible in the configurator as the vehicles of today.
Speaking from great acceleration to the top speed of the car, the latest Tesla Model Y possesses many of the amazing specs. Going with this perspective, the most efficient crossover counted by the EPA at present is none other than the Hyundai Kona Electric which provides a great rating of 27kWh per 100 miles.

Tesla Renewed Model Y
Elon Musk detailed the production of the latest Tesla Model Y. He proposed that sticking with the demand of it is going to be the major challenge for Tesla in the next year. Although it is quite nice to have that challenge which ultimately kicks them to work better. According to him, the company has gone through such challenges and learned a lot before at the time of Tesla Model 3 production.
However, until now it uncertain to know how many reservations are there in the US for the crossover Model Y. If we talk about Australia, reservations are not there.
Other details announced
According to Elon Musk, co-founder of Tesla, Model 3 and Model Y have a capacity of 400,000 per annum. Along with them, a program is on the route at the Shanghai Gigafactory 3 to be with Model Y production in China having an annual capacity of 500,000 units detailed by Tesla. In the reply to a question, if Elon thought that the release of Model Y would stifle the sales of the proceeding Model 3, Musk said that instead of suffering when Model 3, it will be going to enjoy an uptick in sales.
