About Lenovo ThinkPad series

The ThinkPad series goes way back to the 1990s. Initially, the models were produced and sold by IBM. They were later acquired by Lenovo. ThinkPads have a distinct, boxy design language, inspired by a Japanese bento lunchbox. The series was initially developed by the IBM Yamato Facility in Japan and released in 1992. Moreover, ThinkPads have been used in outer space as well. In fact, they are the only laptops certified and trusted for use on the International Space Station.
