Born on March 6, 1991, Tyler Gregory Okonma well known as Tyler, The Creator has been in American Hip-Hop culture since the early 2010s. Tyler is a multitalented personality as other than a rapper he is also a musician, songwriter, record producer, actor, visual artist, designer, and comedian.

He emerged into the Hip-Hop scene when he co-founded an alternative Hip-Hop group named Old Future and made a contribution to nearly every Old Future song.

Now he is once again back with his 16-track album ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’ which drops today itself.

The album includes Lil Wayne in “Hot Wind Blows”, Lil Uzi Vert and Pharrell in the title track “Juggernaut”, Ty Dolla $ign and NBA YoungBoy in “Wusyaname”, 42 Dugg in “Lemonhead”, Domo Genesis in “Manifesto”, and many more. The featuring list not only stops on rappers but other celebrities such as DJ Drama who is featured in almost every track of the album, and Jamie xx who is credited as a co-producer on “Rise!.”

Achievement History

Since the last decade, Tyler has been an important part of the American Hip-Hop scene. He has a long list of achievements but his first achievement would definitely be that he was the co-founder of the label Old Future. From there Tyler never looked back. Later, in April 2011, he signed a joint deal with RED Distribution and Sony Music Entertainment for himself and his label Odd Future Records.

His fifth album ‘Igor’ was a critically acclaimed album for which he won Grammy Award for Best Rap album in 2020 and his album also became the number one album in Billboard 200. He also won many other awards such as BRIT Award, and an MTV Video Music Award.
