SCREAM 6
The new movie, SCREAM 6,  is written by James Vanderbilt and Gary Busick. The initial preview of Scream 6 showcased some plot details and demonstrated the brutality of the new Ghostface. It may have also provided a significant hint about the identity of the person wearing the Ghostface mask, as seen in the shrine.
Scream VI continues from where Scream (2022) ended, with Sam and Tara Carpenter, and Mindy and Chad Meeks-Martin, who survived, relocating to New York City to leave behind Woosdboro and its disturbed history. Their aim was to have a fresh start in the new city, but they soon become embroiled in another meta-slasher mystery when a new Ghostface begins killing individuals nearby.
PLOT
In Scream 6, Sam, Tara, Mindy, and Chad move to New York City to begin a new chapter, but they still struggle with the trauma of the Woodsboro killings and face a new Ghostface killer. Fortunately, they have the support of Gale Weathers and Kirby Reed, who return as legacy characters. However, this new Ghostface is more vicious than previous ones and has extensive knowledge about past murderers and killings. The killer has a shrine dedicated to previous Ghostface wearers and victims, which may reveal their identity in the film.
The trailer for Scream 6 features a striking moment with the reveal of the new Ghostface’s shrine. The shrine contains the costumes of Billy, Stu, and subsequent killers, as well as clothing and items from them, their victims, and iconic locations from previous films, such as a Woodsboro High flag and the sun prop from the play at Windsor College in Scream 2.
WHO COULD BE GHOSTFACE IN SCREAM 6 ?
As in previous Scream films, all characters are potential suspects for the identity of the Ghostface killer(s), with a potential twist to be revealed. However, the trailer has sparked speculation about two characters, Sam and Gabe (played by Tony Revolori). Sam has raised suspicions of being the new Ghostface due to her head tilt, following in her father Billy’s footsteps. Meanwhile, Gabe’s brief appearance in the trailer wearing a shirt referencing Dario Argento’s Four Flies on Grey Velvet has led to speculation about his involvement in the story.
